Welcome. My name is Sara and I, like many have a gift that God has given me.  I don't want to hold onto this talent and let no one else see. I would love for the talent that God has given me for words; to flow out through this site and possibly help someone, inspire someone, or even touch someone very deeply.  I hope that my poetry can do this for you. God bless.

A Message of Hope and Praise

     My Dearest Lord Jesus, I praise and glorify only You; You give me strength to make it through. Lord, when my insides are twisted, and mangled, I look to You, to get me untangled.

And when I'm trying to do what's right; You give me courage to continue the fight. When I'm feeling lost in doubt, I know, in Your Name, I can cast it out.

When I'm feeling a ton of sorrow, You carry me through, for every tomorrow. Oh Lord, You know our deepest fears: You feel, and cry, our tears.

When lifes' unjust, and times seem rough, Ill give You praise, though I could never give enough: For I just want to give You ALL the praise... My hands; my heart, to You I raise!

No one else could love someone such as me; No one else, could truly set me free. You gave Your Life: such awful pain You bore. You defeated evil, You won the war.

 Lord forgive my sins, I pray; Grant that I'll walk closer to You each day. To be with You, I'll ever yearn, As I patiently wait, for Your return!

Lord, may Your Light in me, ever shine; May others see Your Love Divine. May I seek Your will, each day, And remember to always, love, trust, and obey.

 Lord, I give You my life, my all; I know that I have heard Your call. For all these things, the victory, I claim, In Jesus' Precious, Holy Name,

 Amen.

Waterfalls

The Lost One

    I was but a lowly vessel;
Lost in the treacherous sea of sin:
So confused, and tossed within.
Each day, huge waves of bitterness, I did wrestle.

    My deck was ever overflowing:
I could not see the way;
From Your Lighthouse, I had drifted away:
I knew not where I was going.

    My hull was constantly swaying:
My life preservers, did disappear.
The winds so fierce, I could not steer:
All hope was gone; my ropes were fraying.

    I knew not, what I should do.
I looked up to the darkened sky;
With all my suffering; I wondered why.
So I shouted, and I called upon You.

    My Lord; my Captain: I know You've not abandoned me.
Take my helm, I humbly pray;
For I'm weak, and I can't stay afloat another day.
From this sea of sin, I pray You'd set me free.

    Father, for all my sins forgive me,
And cast them astern forevermore.
Anchor me in Your Steadfast Love; my faith to ever restore.
May I always serve, and live for Thee.

    Thank You God, for rescuing me,
For once I was lost, but now I'm found;
I know where I'm going: I'm heaven bound:
One day at a time, upon bended knee.

    ... Are you lost? Have you gone astray?
Is your life's deck ever overflowing?
Are you sinking? Do you know where you are going?
Won't you let Jesus be YOUR Life Preserver today?...

"Matthew 18:11 (KJV) For the son of man is come to save that which was lost."
